Singing in the rain

That's what tonight feels like. Maybe not all the pictures depict it right - it's down this street, the path white with snow.(Imagine the scene in Love Actually when the guy declared his love for Keira Knightley) On both sides you can see the warm yellow light through the windows that are all fogged up from the cold, and bits of dancing lights from the christmas trees indoors (and some outdoors too). People will randomly cheer, and childrens' laughter perfectly complement those christmas carols. Then I'll walk past a bench with a man reading the papers, smoking a pipe and wearing a maroon beanie. There'll also be a parade of snowmen decked out in someone's worn-out christmas clothes. The street lamps will look a prettier incandescent glow than usual, and my hands will be tucked into the pockets of my coat.
Maybe I've been imagining Christmas alone for too many years.

My Visit to the Asian Civilisation Museum

Got transformed into an opera star for some moments and gleefully posing for shots and digging for costumes to wear.

And from what I just remembered in the SIFE World Cup, the SIFE CEO (I think) made a speech and mentioned something like "if you haven't seen the depth of failure you can't experienece the true height of success", or something along those lines. It's quite true isn't it? But very often, we're all trying so hard to stay on top and maybe we miss the true significance of being up there because we didn't find out what the path of climbing up there is like.

There's still so much for me to learn, and one importantn thing to bear in mind - humility goes a long, long way.

Whole lot of exciting happenings recently - the coolest and most memorable is probably the SIFE World Cup that was held in Singapore. It's Students In Free Enterprise for those who don't know. And I was involved in helping out a bit, so i stayed at changi airport for almost half a day on Tuesday and I picked up the Albania and El Salvador team. It's so exciting because I brought them to the hotel and made sure that they got their accommodation figured out. And that night it happened to be pouring and then I sheltered Kelvin and we ran into the hotel from the car and then I just had a lot a lot of fun.

It made me realise that that's what school is supposed to be like - taking part in such fun activities, instead of just studying for exams. It was a crazy week too, had 2 midterms and a presentation on Thu, presentation on Sat and midterm on Sun. But I still went for the SIFE World Cup Cultural Fair and the photos will just tell you how fun it was.

The country coordinator of Kyrgyztan told me that I looked like girls from their country haha

Pretty pretty girl in grey on the left of me, super hot legs too SIGH
And I also went to watch the semis and finals of the World Cup and it's really inspiring and amazing how students come up with projects and ideas that really help people.
Of course, after the hectic week and midterms that were over, finally came my lovely picnic day!

He sleeps while I read Liting's trashy magazine
Our hands can wear both our watches haha
My hand wears both of them!
Man Man (right) and Di Di (left) eyeing on the raspberries
Di Di attacks the raspberries as Man Man looks on!
Little cute angmoh kids running around, make you forget that you're in Singapore
